The Registrar of Companies of the Republic of Cyprus has issued an announcement extending the deadline for the submission of annual returns. Cyprus Companies that have not submitted their annual returns must do so by the 31.10.2016 instead of the 31.03.2016.
Failure to comply with this requirement will result to the strike-off of the concerned companies without any further notice.
As a reminder, on the 11th of January 2016, the Registrar of Companies proceeded to the strike-off (deregistration) of over 55,000 Cyprus companies that had failed to fulfill their statutory obligation to file their annual returns within the specified timeframes.
