On the 20/06/2014, the Supreme Court of Cyprus ruled in favour of our clients’ appeal to the judgment of the District Court of Limassol, by which our application to set aside the judgment was rejected.
Background
An action was filed against our Clients and a judgment in default was issued against them, due to their failure to appear in court during hearing.
An application to set aside the above mentioned judgment was filed on behalf of our clients, which was rejected by the District Court of Limassol.
Following the above and due to the fact that our litigation lawyers were of the opinion that the judgment should be set aside, we proceeded with the filing of an appeal, before the Supreme Court of Cyprus.
Our appeal was successful and the Supreme Court ruled in favour of our clients.
